The Biophilium operates in USD because it's a stable currency easily used by our international artists and scientists. To make our programs affordable for Canadian artists despite the low Canadian Dollar we are offering a Buy One Trade One scholarship for our online research residencies to Canadian artists and students studying in Canada this year.

Canadian artists joining an online Biophilium program in 2025, are invited to participate in a second online program, this year, for a trade of their work, instead of a fee. You can choose what you would like to donate to the Biophilium Eco Art Collection.

We are currently accepting applications to join any of our 10x day research programs on conservation, mycology, birds or mourning ritual.
