BIRD NERD WEBINAR II - Art backed by science This Bird Nerds webinar is a contemporary art history class about eco artists who work with live birds, bird population data and bird song field recordings. It's a bird positive lecture that will include slides on opportunities and resources for creative people to learn more about birds. The talk will be presented by the Biophilium's director Alexis Williams, an artist who has studied birds with the Biophilium for 9 years. She will answer questions at the end of the lecture.
Bird Nerds is part of the Biophilium's Wild Wednesday Webinar series. All are welcome. You are invited to attend while you have a meal or while you work in the studio. It is perfect for listening to while you paint, or you could snuggle down and enjoy the stories with popcorn or cocoa. You are invited to join with or without your video. Meetings will be recorded and available for participants for one month after each class. Seminars will be held on Zoom. Participants will receive a link to the meeting the day of.
