BIRD NERDS I - Science backed by art

This Bird Nerds webinar is a crash course in bird biology and behavior for creative people and our friends who enjoy birds. The lecture will be cram packed with ornithological information and be illustrated with juicy images made by Biophilium artists.

Learn about bird vision, communication, migration and social behavior! There will be book recommendations, story telling and lots of amazing art to fall in love with. The talk will be presented by the Biophilium's director Alexis Williams, an artist who has studied birds with the Biophilium for 9 years. She will answer questions at the end of the lecture.

Bird Nerds is part of the Biophilium's Wild Wednesday Webinar series. All are welcome. You are invited to attend while you have a meal or while you work in the studio. It is perfect for listening to while you paint, or you could snuggle down and enjoy the stories with popcorn or cocoa. You are invited to join with or without your video. Meetings will be recorded and available for participants for one month after each class.

Seminars will be held on Zoom. Participants will receive a link to the meeting the day of.
