DEATH RITUALS I: History of mourning and body disposition

This Wild Wednesday Webinar is a crash course in international and historic death rituals for creative people and our friends who have an interest in thanatology and the death positive movement. Learn about eco burials, cremation, mourning, animal funerals, death doulas, caskets and shrouds! The talk will be presented by the Biophilium's director Alex Williams, an artist who has studied death rituals with the Biophilium for 6 years.

Death Rituals is part of the Ayatana Biophilium's Wild Wednesday Webinar series. All are welcome. You are invited to attend while you eat supper or while you work in the studio. It is perfect for listening to while you paint or knit. You are invited to join with or without your video. You do not have to be an artist to attend. Meetings will be recorded and available for participants for one month after each class.
Seminars will be held on Zoom. Participants will receive a link to the meeting the day of.
